Company Profiles Working on Image Processing / Computer Vision in Turkey

Nov 29

I want to make another list which is connected to Application Areas of Image Processing / Computer Vision[1], reflecting the company profiles of this area in Turkey. This list is an incomplete, brief list which includes companies that I can find information about over the Internet*. Moreover, I classified working areas of companies with information that I found*. My presentation also includes statistics about research area, location and inside/outside Teknokent and it can be found at [2].

Application Areas of Image Processing / Computer Vision

Application Areas of Image Processing / Computer Vision

There are so many application areas of image processing and computer vision. I want to make a list of leading ones, I grouped them into first “main research areas” and then detail them as main research topics. This list is of course a short, coarse and incomplete. But, it can answer the questions like what is image processing/computer vision? what are they dealing with? what are the main topics? or newly graduates may ask what are the main research areas that I can work? how to start and where to start research on image processing? and hundreds of similar questions may arise. So, I think that this list can be a guide to newbies and interested researchers for how to start. My list as a presentation in pdf file can be downloaded from [1].

First in first, directory structure of OpenCV was changed, so everything becomes different. Second, there is a new tbb.dll and tbb_debug.dll problems which can drive a person crazy.
